TEDxSedona 2018 Event to be Held on November 3,2018

Speaker Nomination Process Opened

 

SEDONA, AZ, April 20th, 2018 – TEDxSedona event organizer Rob Portil announced today that TEDx

will return to Sedona, Arizona for its second year. The all-day event will be held on November 3, 2018

at The Collective Sedona.

 

“We are very excited to announce the second TEDxSedona event,” said Portil. “Our sold out, inaugural

program included an amazing roster of national and local speakers that provided thought-provoking and

inspiring insights for attendees.”

 

TEDxSedona 2017’s speakers included Michael Greger, M.D. (whose TEDxSedona video had over

50,000 views within three weeks of release), Deesha Dyer, Hajjar Gibran, Gary Greenberg, Fernando

J. Uribe-Romo, Denise Brousseau and David Armistead. Local speakers included Dean Taraborelli,

Andrea Christelle, Zoe Wild and Sherab Shey Khandro. Videos of 2017 talks can be viewed on the

TEDxSedona YouTube channel.

 

The 2017 program also featured an appearance by local author, women’s rights advocate and

entrepreneur Khalida Brohi who discussed her TED talk “How I Work To Protect Women From Honor

Killings,” which has over 1 million views on TED.com, and featured entertainment from local

performers, including Adalia Tara Middleton, Porangui and Anthony Mazzella.

 

TEDxSedona will open its 2018 speaker nomination process on April 20th 2018 and close on May
